It was in Jean-Pierre Leclerc’s workshop, in Lille, that I discovered violin making, while taking musicology courses at the same time.

In 2008 I decided to join the National Violin Making School of Mirecourt to train as a violin maker.

I then worked at Christian Charlemagne’s workshop in Lyon, where I learned for several years the rigour involved in restoration and tuning.

Having made a violin under the supervision of François Denis during my training, I regularly returned to Angers to perfect my apprenticeship in violin making, assisted by Viateur Roy, Andrea Frandsen and Patrick Robin.

In 2017 I set up on my own, and have now opened, my own workshop, located on the main square of the small peaceful village of Condat-sur-Ganaveix, in the Corrèze.
